Comfortable
If you wear rigid gas permeable contact lenses(RGP)Lobob solutions can’t be beat. I’ve tried them all, and Lobob cleaners do an excellent job, the soaking solution is a cleaner (makes sense) and the wetting solution can also be used in the eye to rewet your lenses.
The entire system just makes more sense, and it works!
The best.
I’ve worn contact lenses for 40 years now. For all but 1 year of that time, I’ve worn hard or gas-permeable lenses. I believe Lobob makes the best solution available today…and I’ve tried them all. My eye doctor recommended Lobob and gave me a sample. It is not available in stores in my area, so I now order it by mail as it works better than anything else I’ve tried.
I tend to have dry eyes (so no LASIK for me, unfortunately) and the Lobob solutions give me longer wearing time with less dryness. I also have allergies, which can make my eyes particularly sensitive at some times of the year, and the Lobob solutions allow me to wear my lenses when other solutions did not. I think they get the lenses cleaner…better at removing protein deposits. My lenses don’t feel scratchy when I use Lobob products.
I’ve never had trouble wearing contacts, loving them from the first day I got them. But as I get older, my eyes are dryer and more sensitive, and the products I use make a difference in both comfort and wearing time. My doctor also recommended TheraTears, and the combination of the Lobob solutions and TheraTears has made wearing contacts almost as comfortable as when I first started wearing them 40 years ago. I am grateful, as I really don’t want to start wearing glasses!
Great for sensitive eyes
When I first started wearing hard lenses for Ortho K (you wear the lens at night and take them out to see clearly during the day) after years of wearing disposable soft lenses, it was quite a transition. Originally I was given the Boston line of solutions to use, but the preservatives in them irritated my eyes. My doctor recommended the Lobob Optimum products along with Theratears eye drops. These products are all really great for people who have sensitive eyes. I HIGHLY recommend these solutions for anyone who desires more comfort.
